Highgate is easy to reach from all major routes.

From the A66 East, 3 miles West of Appleby, follow the signs to Morland for approximately 3 miles and Highgate is on the left hand side, 500yrds from Morland village.
From the M6 South, exit junction 39 and follow the signs to Shap, carry on 1 mile through Shap on the A6, take a right turn and follow the signs to Morland. Drive through Morland and Highgate is on the right hand side, 500yrds past the village.
From the M6 North, exit junction 40, follow the A66 East for approximately 5 miles, turn right and following the signs to Morland.
